ACHIEVEMENTS
Pioneer in Colombia of Microsurgery and Endoscopic Surgery of the Nose, Paranasal Sinuses and Skull Base. Since 1988 he has used exclusively Microsurgery techniques to perform plastic surgery of the nose, eyelids, chin, ears and facial rejuvenation. Designer of an implant for the aesthetic reconstruction of the nose.
Honorable Mention, Luis Barreto Bruce National Award, granted by the Colombian Society of Otorhinolaryngology in 1990 and 1992. Established researcher, Professor and National and International Lecturer. Author of the chapter “Endoscopic Decompression of the Optic Nerve in Traumatic Optic Neuropathy” in the book Microendoscopic Surgery of the Paranasal Sinuses and Skull Base.
